What’s Opening in South America?

INTERNATIONAL REPORT—Wyndham, Marriott and Radisson have broadened their reach, opening properties in South America. Here are the details:

Wyndham Garden Debuts in Argentina
Wyndham Hotels & Resorts debuted its upper-midscale Wyndham Garden brand in Luján, Province of Buenos Aires, earlier this month. The 32-room Wyndham Garden Luján is the 57th Wyndham hotel in Argentina, joining existing hotels under the Wyndham, Dazzler, Esplendor, Howard Johnson, Days Inn and Ramada brands in the country. Wyndham’s Latin American franchise and management company headquarters is also located in Argentina. The property will be operated by Aadesa Hotel Management.

Marriott to Debut the First W Hotel in Argentina
Marriott International has signed an agreement with GNV Group to bring its W Hotels Worldwide brand to Argentina for the first time in Buenos Aires. The hotel—expected to open in 2024—and its planned residences will be located within a $100 million, 34-story, mixed-use tower poised to rise in the heart of the Puerto Madero neighborhood.

Radisson Hotel Group Opens New Hotel in Peru
Radisson Hotel Group has opened Radisson Resort Paracas. The hotel has 150 guestrooms and suites. The infinity pool overlooking the ocean is a highlight. Amenities include a fitness center and complimentary parking. El Candelabro is the hotel’s on-site restaurant, which offers classic Peruvian dishes. There is also a lobby bar and pool bar serving a variety of drinks and appetizers. Elsewhere, there are several meeting rooms that can accommodate up to 90 guests.
