What’s New in the Northeast?

NATIONAL REPORT—Hotels are opening across the Northeast in Boston and Pennsylvania. City debuts and distinctive experiences are some of the recent happenings:

Cambria Moves Into Boston
Cambria Hotels has entered Massachusetts with the opening of the Cambria Hotel Boston, Downtown-South Boston. The hotel is the eighth Cambria location to open its doors this year—together representing more than 1,100 rooms. Up to five more Cambria hotels are expected to open in top-tier markets across the country by year-end. The property is close to the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center and the city’s developing Seaport District. Amenities include a rooftop bar, food and beverage outlets, meeting and event space and a fitness center.

Former Chocolate Factory Opens to Guests
The Wilbur Lititz, Tapestry Collection by Hilton joins Tapestry Collection by Hilton. The Wilbur Lititz in Lititz, PA will offer guests the experience of staying in the former Wilbur Chocolate Factory, originally opened in the early 1930s. The property is located next to the Wilbur Market, a food hall, and additional downtown eateries and bakeries. The property has on-site food and beverage options, 1,000 sq. ft. of meeting space and a fitness center.

Four Points Opens Doors in Pennsylvania
Marriott International Inc. has opened the Four Points Allentown Lehigh Valley in Allentown, PA. The property has a fitness center, pool and food and beverage options. Four Points Allentown Lehigh Valley, an asset managed by Joshi Hotel Group and previously under the name Comfort Suites Allentown, also has 120 has guestrooms, more than 1,380 sq. ft. of meeting space, a 24-hour fitness center and business center.
