INTERNATIONAL REPORT—Hotel brands are opening properties in China, Indonesia and India. Here’s more on the new expansions, rebranding and amenities overseas:

IHG Opens Fourth Holiday Inn Express in Singapore

IHG’s latest addition in Singapore—and the fourth Holiday Inn Express hotel in this country—is Holiday Inn Express Singapore Serangoon, located close to Little India heritage area.

Also near Changi Airport, Holiday Inn Express Singapore Serangoon offers convenient access to Farrer Park and Jalan Besar MRT stations, the 24-hour Mustafa Shopping Center and City Square Mall. The hotel has food and beverage options, a fitness center, business center and laundry stations.

Kempinski Expands in Bali With Business and Leisure Amenities

Kempinski Hotels will open The Apurva Kempinski Bali on Feb. 1 in the upmarket Nusa Dua area of Bali with 475 guestrooms, suites and villas in a beachfront setting. There’s also six restaurants, bars and lounges, along with a spa and fitness center.

Other facilities include a swimming pool and a separate kids’ pool and a family club. For meetings and events, The Apurva Kempinski Bali has an 11,581-sq.-ft. grand ballroom and a collection of meeting rooms with ocean vistas.

Rebranding Marks Second Hyatt Place in India

Hyatt has rebranded Hyatt Place Goa/Candolim to Hyatt Centric Candolim Goa, marking the brand’s second hotel in India. The hotel has 167 guestrooms including one suite. Situated in the heart of North Goa, Hyatt Centric Candolim Goa is close to beaches, shopping centers, nightlife and other local attractions.

Hyatt Centric Candolim Goa also offers 6,065 sq. ft. of meeting and event spaces. The hotel also has a fitness studio, outdoor swimming pool, kids play area, 24-hour room service and laundry services.

ITC to Open in Goa

ITC Hotels plans to open ITC Grand Goa Resort & Spa in November on Arossim beach in Cansaulim, South Goa, India. The hotel is close to Goa International Airport.

The 252-room will have the largest free-form swimming pool in India, according to the company, and indoor and outdoor meeting and banquet spaces. Additionally, its 36,000-sq.-ft. spa will have 16 spa suites. There will also be six dining venues.
