Autograph Collection Hotels has added Sankara Nairobi to its portfolio, marking the debut for the brand in Kenya.  The property has 168 rooms, restaurants, destination bars, social and meeting spaces, and fitness facilities. The newly refurbished guestrooms include a brand-new Presidential Suite.

Best Western Hotels & Resorts Expands Presence in Cape Town, South Africa
Best Western Hotels & Resorts and Fountains Hotel in Cape Town has rebranded as the Best Western Fountains Hotel. With 156 guestrooms and suites, the hotel is located in the heart of Cape Town’s central business district. The hotel has a range of rooms, with air conditioning, safe, coffee- and tea-making facilities, satellite TVs, minibars and complimentary WiFi. The restaurant offers breakfast, lunch and dinner, all in a convenient buffet style, while 24-hour room service is available as well. Breakfast includes international as well as cooked South-African choices, freshly baked bread, rolls, pastries from the in-house bakery as well as a range of fruits and yogurts.

Radisson Hotel Group signs agreement for three hotels to enter Madagascar
Radisson Hotel Group is entering its 32nd African market and second Indian Ocean territory,
Madagascar, with the signing of a portfolio deal of three hotels and a total of 254 rooms. The
agreement was signed with Groupe Talys. Radisson Hotel Group today, has 89 hotels and 17,000-plus
rooms in operation and under development in Africa. The group remains firmly on track to reach
130 hotels and 23,000-plus rooms across the continent by 2022. The agreement consists of two hotel
conversions and one hotel under construction, with all three hotels scheduled to open in 2020.
