NATIONAL REPORT—What better place to get advice than that of a trusted friend? That’s the premise behind Goop, a powerhouse lifestyle brand led by actress Gwyneth Paltrow. Designed to be a one-stop hub of curated information and recommendations from a celebrity in-the-know on everyday topics—wellness, travel, food, beauty, style and work—Goop is extending the brand to deliver a fitness program for travelers in partnership with Westin Hotels & Resorts.
“Wellness is so much more than the food we eat or the workout we do. It’s a healthy lifestyle choice that truly makes a difference in how you feel,” said Megan O’Neill, senior beauty editor at Goop. “At Goop, we believe wellness can be transformative for both your body and your mind, but we also know how hard it is to keep up your healthy routines during the summer. We hope G. Sport Sessions will be a way for guests to carve out time for themselves. We worked in tandem with Westin to incorporate some of our favorite things to create the experience, including a sweat session with Tracy Anderson, amazing food, and a grab bag of luxurious Goop products.”
Westin guests will gain access to premier workouts and wellness Q&A led by celebrity trainer Tracy Anderson. These experiences include nourishing refreshments supplied by Westin Fresh by The Juicery, as well as a goodie bag filled with Goop-approved products and items from Goop’s new line of G. Sport athletic wear.
“We’ve always wanted to further expand our reach in the travel space and we are thrilled to align with a brand that makes it even easier for people to incorporate well-being on the road,” said O’Neill. “Fitness—and just being conscious about getting up and moving—is crucial to wellness and quality of life. Which is why we created G. Sport, so women have a sleek, comfortable, feminine, easy uniform to be active in.”
The partnership was a no-brainer as wellness is in the wheelhouse of both brands. At Westin, the brand strives to keep travelers excited about wellness by infusing new energy into its programming.

Sport Sessions aim to provide travelers with bespoke and interactive wellness experiences.”
The goals for the G. Sport Sessions at Westin are twofold: help people to maintain their wellness routine while traveling and provide guests with an immersive wellness experience from check-in to checkout. G. Sport Sessions were created to offer travelers upgraded access to fitness and wellness experiences at select properties across the U.S.
“We know that travel can be tricky for people’s wellness routine, but—believe it or not—longer days and more free time during summer months can be disruptive, too.
