LAS VEGAS—Roger Dow, president and CEO, U.S. Travel Association, will deliver the keynote address at the Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International (HSMAI), Las Vegas Chapter, Power Breakfast on Sept. 22.
Based in Washington, DC, the U.S. Travel Association is the organization charged with representing all segments of travel in America. Tourism is Southern Nevada’s No. 1 industry, supporting 368,900 jobs—41.4% of the workforce—and generating $51.8 billion in aggregate economic output, according to organizers.
During his keynote address, Dow will discuss how the meetings and events industries will change in the next few years; the USTA’s biggest accomplishment in the past decade; international relations and what they mean for the U.S. meetings and travel industry; and the USTA’s role in discussions and actions with hospitality stakeholders to promote a positive message from the tourism and meetings industries.
Representatives from the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority and hotel industry benchmarking and analysis company STR will also present at the HSMAI Las Vegas Power Breakfast.
