Traveler Experience Gets a Redesign at Marriott in Kansas City, MO

KANSAS CITY, MO—The Kansas City Marriott Country Club Plaza Hotel has transformed its guest experience to include redesigned guestrooms and public spaces, as a part of the ongoing reinvention of Marriott Hotels, the signature brand of Marriott International. This property is one of numerous hotels within the brand’s portfolio across North America that is introducing this modern design.

The arrival experience begins with the exterior’s updated illumination, and a check-in/check-out process that is mobile-friendly. The reimagined rooms offer an upgraded look complete with tailored solutions, and locally inspired accents are reflective of the city’s architecture and museums. In addition, the bathtubs have been replaced with deluxe walk-in showers and spa-like lighting.

Meeting and catering areas provide more than 18,000 sq. ft. of functional space, with an additional 2,300 sq. ft. of meeting space incorporated to include a new Plaza Terrace event space. Other enhancements include a renovated Greatroom lobby and the hotel’s Concierge Lounge has been transformed into the Greatroom, an exclusive area for Elite and Club members.
