Chesapeake Hospitality Maximizes Data Management and Forecasting Efficiency with ProfitSword
ProfitSword has revealed the implementation of its ProfitSage operational and financial reporting solution by Chesapeake Hospitality. Previously utilizing a separate third-party platform for data management and forecasting operations, Chesapeake Hospitality ultimately selected ProfitSage in order to provide its portfolio and staff with a more robust and accessible solution that could also address the complexities of ongoing company growth.

Angie Hospitality Integrates with Room Control Solutions to Add Voice and Touchscreen Interfaces
Angie Hospitality has integrated its virtual assistant solution with room control platforms, including Honeywell’s Inncom Guest Room Automation System. As a result of this integrated technology solution, all guest-facing room automation features can now be controlled using either the device’s interactive voice interface or its built-in touchscreen. This allows hoteliers to provide enhanced guest comfort and convenience, while improving energy efficiency and reducing operational costs.

Virgin Hotels Ramps Up Customer Experience Marketing, Personalization 
Virgin Hotels has implemented new WiFi infrastructure at its first hotel in Chicago in partnership with Local Measure. Since 2016, the hotel has used Local Measure’s platform to publish galleries of user-generated content from the hotel, be alerted to special events that might be taking place within the hotel and respond to guest feedback in real time on social media. Local Measure’s partnership with Cisco Meraki has enabled it to bring its real-time social WiFi analytics to the hotel. A social WiFi sign-on page acts as a customer acquisition tool while collecting location analytics and creating rich customer profiles that allows Virgin Hotels to create memorable moments for its guests.
