These Hotel Brands Are Elevating the Guest Experience

INTERNATIONAL REPORT—From deep-dive exploration in the Bahamas to a restful night’s sleep via an app and a curated closet upon arrival, hospitality brands are stepping up their game to ensure guests have a memorable stay. Here’s a look at the latest guest experiences being offered:

Rosewood Launches Collection of Exclusive Journeys

Rosewood Hotels & Resorts has unveiled Rosewood Limited Edition, a collection of one-of-a-kind travel experiences from the ultra-luxury hospitality brand’s properties across the globe. Comprised of 12 inspired excursions ideal for sharing with friends and family, Rosewood Limited Edition offers privileged access to the often-unreachable elements of today’s most desirable destinations, made available exclusively through Rosewood’s relationship with beloved brands, trusted tastemakers and local communities worldwide, according to the company.

Carefully curated to cater to “affluential explorers” with a variety of interests, each bespoke Rosewood Limited Edition package provides recipients with exclusive excursions and offerings that speak to the spirit and pastimes of its respective destination, from designing and customizing a vintage Jaguar Type E Cabriolet with renowned French designer Tristan Auer in Paris to deep-diving in search of a Ulysse Nardin Diver 42mm fine watchpiece in the Bahamian sea. Additional highlights, such as “glamping” in the middle of the Arabian Desert in a recreated Rosewood Abu Dhabi suite and a historic exploration of Myanmar old and new with renowned Burmese historian Dr. Thant Myint-U, provide an authentic and profound immersion into the local communities and traditions of several of the world’s most culturally significant cities and sites.

Novotel Gets Calm with its Newest Global Partnership

Beginning in January 2020 at Novotel locations in Canada, the partnership with Calm will be introduced at more than 530 hotels across 60 countries throughout the year.

As part of Novotel’s Time is on Your Side campaign, which enables travelers to discover relaxing moments, disconnect from their busy lives and connect more deeply with friends, colleagues and family, guests will experience the positive benefits of Calm—including guided meditations, atmospheric music, nature soundscapes, and over 150 Sleep Stories—all of which are designed specifically to instill a calmer mindset. As an added benefit, guests checking into a Novotel Executive Room will receive a complimentary 60-day Calm Premium subscription, giving them the tools to help them find more calm and mindfulness in their everyday lives.
