Hilton Opens Dual-Brand in Tampa, FL
Hilton has opened the dual-branded Hampton Inn by Hilton Tampa Downtown Channel District and Home2 Suites by Hilton Tampa Downtown Channel District, bringing a total of 213 new rooms to the downtown Tampa, FL area. Developed and managed by Tampa-based Liberty Group, Hampton Inn by Hilton Tampa Downtown Channel District and Home2 Suites by Hilton are close to the Tampa Convention Center, the Florida Aquarium, Amalie Arena, Water Street, USF College of Medicine and Port Tampa Bay. The hotel has two distinct dining areas, a shared 24-hour business center, fitness center and outdoor rooftop pool. The hotel also has meeting space that can accommodate up to 150 people as well as a retail Starbucks Coffee.
Courtyard Inn & Suites in Tennessee Debuts Following Renovation
Country Inn & Suites by Radisson has opened Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Sevierville, TN. The hotel’s opening follows a multimillion-dollar renovation featuring the brand’s modern designs with updated interiors and spacious guestrooms and suites. The property is proximate to Knoxville and Pigeon Forge, as well as nearby attractions such as Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Dollywood and Nascar SpeedPark Smoky Mountains. The hotel has 83 guestrooms and suites, a 24-hour business center and fitness center, indoor and outdoor pool.
Fairfield Inn & Suites Opens Near New Orleans
The 94-room Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites in LaPlace, LA. The Fairfield Inn & Suites LaPlace will operate as a Marriott franchise, owned and managed by SMC Hotels. The hotel is close to Cajun Pride Swamp Tours, Jacob’s World Famous Andouille & Sausage and New Orleans. Additional hotel amenities include an outdoor swimming pool, a fitness center and 275 sq. ft. of meeting space to accommodate functions of up to 25 people.
Courtyard by Marriott Expands to Lafayette, LA
Courtyard by Marriott Lafayette South is now open in Lafayette, LA. The 94-room hotel will operate franchise, owned and managed by Sunrise Hospitality of Shreveport, LA. The hotel is close to Lafayette Regional Airport, Youngsville Sports Complex, River Ra Lafayette, Ambassador Town Center, Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center and downtown Lafayette. The five-story hotel has an outdoor swimming pool, an outdoor patio with a fire pit, a fitness center and guest laundry and 921 sq. ft. of meeting space to accommodate functions of up to 50 people.
