NEW YORK—The Quin Hotel will open here in October.
Formerly the Buckingham Hotel, the Quin has been reimagined as a luxury hotel where art, design and nature converge, according to the company.
The 208- room hotel, including 28 suites, will feature a two-story, 130-seat restaurant, The Wayfarer; a fitness center with Technogym equipment and trainers; a partnership with Fresh; and a business center.
Designed by Perkins Eastman, the hotel will celebrate the location’s artistic heritage. For instance, the O’Keeffe and Paderewski Specialty Suites have been designed to reflect the artisty of their respective namesakes.
All guestrooms will feature a mix of lacquered wood and sustainable materials, king-size Duxiana beds, glass-enclosed showers, an array of Fresh products and personal espresso makers. Suites will feature larger bathrooms with soaking tubs and open showers.
