Hospitality Management Systems Acquires Venue Management Systems
Venue Management Systems is being acquired by Hospitality Management Solutions. Venue Management Systems LLC is the company behind UrVenue. This acquisition is part of an overall strategy by Hospitality Management Solutions to offer integrated technology and software solutions and services for the hospitality industry. Over the last few years, UrVenue has expanded its offerings beyond nightlife by building an ecosystem of software solutions focused on the needs of the broader hospitality industry. The company expects to announce additional product offerings as a result of the acquisition.
San Diego’s Sycuan Casino Resort includes Intelity Platform in Expansion
Intelity has a complete hospitality platform now incorporated into the $260-million expansion of the recently opened San Diego Sycuan Casino Resort. Through the Intelity platform, guests at the new hotel will have access to the Sycuan mobile app, which provides mobile check-in/out, mobile key and the ability to request amenities, book reservations, view current promotions, message with staff, schedule wakeup calls and control the in-room smart TV.
Staff will use Intelity’s back office platform, Intelity Staff, to fulfill guest requests, process work orders, and monitor all staff and guest activity. In addition to improving efficiency in on-property operations, the Intelity platform also provides data analytics that can be utilized to create relevant and targeted offers and promotions for guests.
RCD Hotels Taps Duetto To Drive All-Inclusive Technology Innovation
RCD Hotels is partnering with Duetto to have better forecasting insights and drive more revenue at their two newest properties—Hard Rock Hotel Los Cabos and Nobu Hotel Los Cabos. RCD Hotels will initially install Duetto at five total properties, including the Eden Roc Hotel Miami Beach and Nobu Hotel Miami Beach. They will implement Duetto’s GameChanger application to simplify their pricing process, ScoreBoard to simplify their reporting process and BlockBuster to simplify their group business contracts. Two specific features will strengthen RCD Hotels’ all-inclusive revenue strategy: the ability to yield per-person rates and the ability to forecast demand up to five years into the future. While traditional urban hotels have shorter booking windows, all-inclusive properties are often booked further than a year in advance and therefore need better visibility into demand beyond 365 days.
