Sydney’s Crest Reopens As Mercure

SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA—After being shuttered for almost two years, the landmark hotel, The Crest, re-opened here as the 227-room Mercure Sydney Potts Point.

The owners, Australand, appointed Accor to manage the property.
The former Crest was upgraded with a $30 million refurbishment, adding new furniture, fittings and a modern design by Marques Interiors.

The Mercure Sydney Potts Point offers views of the Harbour Bridge and Opera House and offers a large outdoor terrace and four meeting rooms for up to 300 persons.
Mercure currently has 28 hotels in key locations across Australia, and more than 670 hotels in 50 countries globally.
