MUNICH—Wyndham Hotel Group has opened the first Super 8 hotel here, located in the Laim district.
The 168 rooms offer a modern design featuring boxspring beds and bathrooms featuring under floor heating and a walk-in shower. Art includes pictures of Munich’s Siegestor, or “Victory Arch,” in the rooms. In addition, guestrooms can be unlocked via smartphone through technology from Hotelbird.
Super 8 Munich City West features a lounge, a coffee shop run in cooperation with traditional German company Dallmayr, a terrace and a breakfast show kitchen serving Bavarian specialties. Complimentary Grab&Go breakfast is available.
