SpringHill Suites to Open in Gallup, NM

GALLUP, NM—The 95-suite SpringHill Suites by Marriott is scheduled to open here on Tuesday, August 2. The SpringHill Suites Gallup will operate as a Marriott franchise, developed by PEG Development, owned by Gallup SHS Investors, LLC, and managed by In-Group Hospitality of Provo, UT.

Leading the Gallup team will be General Manager Chad Burchfield, a Cornell alumnus from Riverside, CA. Burchfield spent his last year assisting in building a team in Arizona’s Tempe/ASU/Phoenix market. “I am extremely excited to be a part of this project. Gallup is a warm community that offers tons of growth and we cannot wait to serve travelers and locals in a true Springhill and Marriott fashion,” he said.

Located at 1105 W. Lincoln Ave., the hotel is accessible to downtown Gallup, the Navajo Nation and destinations such as Canyon de Chelly and Pyramid Rock.

Featuring suites that are larger than typical hotel rooms, the hotel provides separate living, working and sleeping spaces, as well as a pullout sofa bed and lounge chair that offer additional space. Bathrooms include a marble-top vanity, tile walls and task lighting. Other room amenities include a desk with ergonomic chair and high-speed internet access.

The hotel’s newly designed lobby features warm, earth-tone colors, accent fabrics and walnut-stained wood. There is free WiFi and complimentary hot breakfast, and the Market offers 24/7 access to food and beverages. The hotel also offers business services, same-day dry cleaning, guest laundry facilities, an indoor swimming pool, a jet pool and a fitness center. The property also has 475 sq. ft. of meeting space that will accommodate meetings and functions for up to 37 people.
