TAGHASZOUT, MOROCCO—Sol Hotels & Resorts will open a new property to supplement its lifestyle brand Sol House. The property, Sol House Taghazout, is located on Taghazout Bay and will open in May.
The hotel has 121 guestrooms and suites; including the house rooms, which are for shared accommodations; and the party house master cabana, a large bungalow featuring two double bedrooms and living room with additional amenities.
Social media is a key concept for Sol House properties, according to the hotel. Sol House lets guests book VIP Bali beds or food and drinks via the tweet concierge, posting their orders on twitter.
On top of this, the hotel features ‘tweet party’ rooms and suites. Guests get a bottle of cava and sweets on arrival, Tweet concierge, a welcome mini bar, a 42-in. plasma Smart TV, a welcome drink and access to VIP sun loungers. The hotel also features a pool, chill-out loungers and Bali beds.
Guests can dine in the hotel’s buffet restaurant. Designed for sharing with friends throughout the day, the hotel’s PlayBar provides guests with snacks and drinks. At PlayBar guests can listen to the hotel’s resident DJ and live performers from the terraces that look out onto the ocean. Additional features include a gym, an in-house surf academy, a game room and free WiFi throughout the property.
The hotel is located near sports facilities, shops, restaurants, bars and ecotourism spots.
