Siegel Group Establishes Las Vegas ‘Boutique Chic Retreats’ Portfolio

LAS VEGAS—Following several strategic acquisitions in and around Las Vegas, the Siegel Group has now established what it believes is a new category of Las Vegas lodging called boutique chic retreats that are represented by Siegel’s five repositioned area properties.
The Siegel Group’s Las Vegas boutique portfolio is represented by the soon-to-open Rumor Hotel, the Artisan, the Gold Spike Hotel & Casino, the Oasis at the Gold Spike and the Resort on Mount Charleston. Siegel recently formed this group with the acquisition of the 64-key Artisan, which was in foreclosure, and the former St. Tropez hotel, which was in foreclosure and will now reopen as the 150-suite Rumor Hotel this summer.
A similar strategy was employed when Siegel bought the Travel Inn motel on the far reaches of Las Vegas Boulevard, renovated it and then turned it into the 50-room Oasis at the Gold Spike, which is connected to the Gold Spike Hotel & Casino. The recently renovated, 112-room Gold Spike Hotel was originally opened in 1976 as the Rendezvous.
The Resort on Mount Charleston is located 30 minutes away from the Las Vegas Strip in the Toiyabe National Forest. The resort is currently going through a multi-million-dollar interior and exterior renovation and is adding a mountain-view pool, a suspended wedding ceremony deck and upgraded rooms.
