PORTLAND, OR—The Sheraton Portland Airport Hotel has completed the first phase of a two-part, $7-million renovation.
Phase one included a complete, top-to-bottom renovation of its 212 guestrooms and suites, while phase two will completely transform the hotel’s lobby, signature restaurant, extensive function space and amenities. The entire refurbishment process is expected to be complete by September. The issuing company is Pollin Hotels II LLC.
Located on the grounds of Portland International Airport (PDX) at 8235 NE Airport Way, the five-story hotel is close to downtown, and Vancouver, WA, as well as Mount Hood.
Guestrooms have new Sheraton Signature Beds and marble countertops, as well as contemporary artwork and furnishings. Other enhancements include charging stations throughout the room and new headboards with reading lamps.
Facilities include an indoor heated pool, Jacuzzi, sauna and 24-hour fitness center. There is also a business center and 17 meeting rooms with 22,500 sq. ft. of flexible meeting space.
Dining options will include the Rose & Compass restaurant and bar, an updated lobby coffee shop serving Starbucks coffee and grab-and-go items, and NorthStar, a private event space.
