ISTANBUL—Sheraton Hotels & Resorts, part of Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc., has designated the newly opened Sheraton Istanbul Atasehir as a Sheraton Grand, bringing it to the brand’s upper tier of hotels. Joining a portfolio of 31 Sheraton Grand properties globally, the hotel has top-floor views overlooking the Princes’ Islands and the Sea of Marmara.

Located in Atasehir, a modern suburban district of Istanbul, near the Istanbul Finance Center, the property features 165 guestrooms and suites with a range of views. Each accommodation features all of the brand’s signature amenities and services, including high-speed internet access and a 42-in. flat screen TV. Located on preferred floors, Sheraton Club rooms and suites offer access to the Sheraton Club lounge and feature private terraces; the SIA Club Wellness & Spa features massages, treatments, a hammam, sauna, workout equipment and a convertible indoor pool.
The hotel has 30,139 sq. ft. of versatile function space that can accommodate a variety of gatherings. The conference center is comprised of a 11,668-sq.-ft. grand ballroom, which can be divided into two rooms, as well as 10 light-filled meeting rooms.
The property joins six other Sheraton hotels, including Sheraton Ataköy, Istanbul, Sheraton Ankara, Sheraton Cesme, Sheraton Bursa, Sheraton Adana and Sheraton Grand Samsun.
