OMAHA, NE—After nearly a decade-long absence, the Sheraton Hotels & Resorts brand will have a presence here again with the opening of the Sheraton Omaha Hotel this October.
Owned by an investment fund managed by Latitude Management Real Estate In vestors, Inc., the property is a former Crowne Plaza and is undergoing a $4 million renovation to convert it to the Sheraton Brand. Located near the Qwest Convention and the University of Nebraska, the hotels 223 guestrooms will feature oversized work stateions, the Sheraton Sweet Sleeper bed, LDC flat panel telecisions and mp3 docing stations. The property will also offer more than 9,000 square feet of meeting space, three restaurants, a fitness center and an indoor pool.
The opening of the Sheraton Omaha Hotel is part of the brands plan to add more than 60 hotels to the Sheraton portfolio over the next two years.
