SPOKANE, WA—Red Lion Hotels kicked off its Magic Of Service Brand Conference here this week.
Taking place at the Red Lion Hotel at the Park here, the conference speaker lineup includes Amanda Hite, president, Smith Travel Research; Chris Thompson, president/CEO, Brand USA; and Shep Hyken, a New York Times and Wall Street Journal best-selling author on customer service.
Ron Burgett, executive vp, lodging and brand development, Red Lion Hotels Corporation, underscored the objective of the event. “This convention is an opportunity to work with our franchise hotel owners and general managers to build an even stronger brand. This brand has enjoyed a 24 percent increase in the number of guest rooms since October of last year, with a healthy increase in the number of franchised hotels,” he said.
