PORTLAND, OR—Provenance Hotels has promoted Leslie Lew to VP of revenue strategy for the company’s portfolio of independent hotels in Portland, OR; Seattle and Tacoma, WA; Nashville, TN; and New Orleans, LA.
Lew joined Provenance Hotels in 2014 as the company’s senior director of revenue management and is responsible for maximizing revenue and market share while lowering distribution and customer acquisition costs. He has also been instrumental in evolving the company’s revenue strategies beyond traditional revenue management in competitive hospitality markets.
With the recent addition of the Heathman Hotel to its management portfolio, Provenance Hotels will continue to channel Lew’s knowledge of revenue management, e-commerce and distribution as the company opens Hotel Theodore in Seattle and Dossier in Portland, OR, this summer, as well as The Woodlark in Portland in spring 2018.
In addition to positioning Provenance Hotels’ pipeline projects slated to open later this year, Lew will remain an integral asset in assessing new deals as the company looks to expand their portfolio in emerging Midwest markets, New York and California.
“Leslie has shown exceptional leadership in his role as senior corporate director of revenue management and has been an invaluable part of Provenance’s growth these past two years,” said Bashar Wali, president of Provenance Hotels. “His analytical approach and passion for the industry has kept us at the forefront of revenue strategy, allowing us to be nimble and adaptive in a landscape that is rapidly expanding with new hotel inventory and a growing sharing economy.”
