Properties under new management

Three hospitality management companies have recently added properties to their portfolios. Here’s a look:

McKibbon Hospitality adds Hilton Garden Inn in Jacksonville, FL
McKibbon Hospitality is now managing the Hilton Garden Inn Jacksonville | Ponte Vedra. The 127-room hotel is located in the Ponte Vedra Beach area of Jacksonville, FL at the entrance to TPC Sawgrass, home of The Players Championship golf tournament and the new PGA Tour headquarters. The hotel is near the Mayo Clinic Jacksonville, Blue Cross Blue Shield’s Florida headquarters, St. Johns Town Center and four public beaches with more than 22 miles of coastline.

Amenities include free WiFi, an outdoor pool, a fitness center, Mulligan’s Irish Pub and a 24-hour market, as well as nearly 3,000 sq. ft. of flexible meeting space.

The new management contract expands McKibbon’s presence in the Jacksonville area, where the company currently manages two additional hotels: Aloft Jacksonville Airport and Homewood Suites by Hilton Jacksonville-South/St. Johns Center.

Spire Hospitality adds to portfolio with NJ hotel
Spire Hospitality has expanded its portfolio’s geographic footprint to Park Ridge, NJ, with the addition of Marriott Park Ridge.

The hotel, which underwent renovations in 2018, has 289 guestrooms and suites; three on-site dining options; 18,000 sq. ft. of event space; a 24-hour fitness center; and indoor and outdoor pools.

Marriott Park Ridge is located near MetLife Stadium, the Meadowlands Sports Complex, Woodcliff Lake, Van Saun County Park, the New Jersey Performing Arts Center and The Outlets at Bergen Town Center.

Quorum Hotels & Resorts expands portfolio
Quorum Hotels & Resorts has assumed management of the Hyatt Place Fort Worth/TCU. The company assisted ownership since 2018 in the design and development of the 150-key hotel which is the first and only hotel to be located on the campus of Texas Christian University (TCU). The hotel provides 3,500 sq. ft. of meeting and event space, two Top Golf Swing Suites and Lot 12, a rooftop outlet that includes a 6,500 sq. ft. terrace overlooking the TCU campus and downtown Fort Worth.

In May, the company will open the Home2Suites by Hilton Mesa Longbow in Mesa, AZ, adjacent to the Longbow Golf Club and two miles from the Boeing Corporation. The four-story, 64,000-sq.-ft. hotel will have 111 suites, all equipped with kitchens, as well as a business center, pool and free WiFi.
