Caesars Entertainment UK Selects Agilysys IG OnDemand
Caesars Entertainment UK has added Agilysys, Inc.’s contactless F&B ordering solution, IG OnDemand, across its properties.

With IG OnDemand, Caesars can allow guests to view and order from a variety of F&B locations; nable guest spending at any time, on any mobile device; increase revenue opportunities through the added convenience as guests order directly from their personal devices; deploy real-time menu updates with flexible configuration; and adapt more easily to social-distancing demands.

HIS Unveils BeyondTV MyRemote
Hotel Internet Services (HIS) has unveiled the latest in guestroom entertainment and contactless convenience with the launch of BeyondTV MyRemote. Designed to be instantly accessible by a wide range of personal devices without the need to download software, MyRemote is simultaneously able to cater to growing demands for instant, personalized service while ensuring that new guest expectations for contactless and social distancing compatible amenities can be fully met.

Compatible with all smart devices, MyRemote can be made available via QR code or manual registration and does not even require a WiFi connection in order to function. Replacing the prior need to handle physical in-room items such as TV remotes that may pose a germ exposure risk, MyRemote offers safer and hassle-free access to a wide range of traditional guestroom functionalities and services, including total television control such as powering on or off, changing channels and adjusting volume; complete access to browsing TV guides; the ability to enter login details for apps such as streaming services using smart device keyboards; effortless switching between apps on guestroom television; and the ability to control more than one guestroom TV, if present.

Nomadix Strengthens Executive Team, Expands Product Portfolio
Nomadix Inc. has strengthened its global management team, expanded its product portfolio and increased hiring across the organization. With the decrease in travel and the massive impact on hotels, hoteliers are looking for ways to increase safety standards and customer satisfaction without adding more strain to an already impacted budget. Nomadix has created a suite of cost-effective, touchless technologies that can improve the guest experience and meet new safety requirements of hoteliers.

Joining the executive team are Pam Goncalves, CMO; Tammy Estes, chief product officer; Mark Khandjian, CFO; and John Sykes, head of operations.

Hotel Alhambra Palace Chooses Infor
The five-star, 108-room Hotel Alhambra Palace in Granada, Spain, has chosen to implement Infor Hospitality Cloud solutions throughout all operations, including front-of-house, housekeeping, restaurants and conference bookings. Deployed in the cloud, the deal includes Infor Hospitality Management Solution (HMS); Infor Sales and Catering; and Infor Table Management.

Infor software will replace an on-premises legacy system that can no longer support the plans for growth at Hotel Alhambra Palace, according to the technology company. One of the earliest anticipated benefits of the new application will be faster access to more comprehensive information and operational data, as well as new contactless processes such as mobile check-in.
