INTERNATIONAL REPORT—Whether it’s celebrating an anniversary, receiving an award, earning a certification, debuting a new product or expanding the business, hotel companies and vendors achieve new milestones on a daily basis. Here’s a look at recent accomplishments:
HMP Launches 360-Degree Solution for Boutique Hotel Management
HMP has created HMP Master, a new cloud-based hotel management platform to enable hoteliers to take control of their assets and revenue channels and make management easier. The new platform shifts the focus to guest satisfaction and the true intent of hospitality.
HMP Master has been designed to boost operational performance, enhance management efficiency, integrate reservations, sales and marketing, and facilitate staff engagement. Staff and management can use HMP on their mobile, tablet, iPad or desktop.
The new software streamlines three areas: operations, financial control and business intelligence, including reporting, analytics and forecasting.
High Hotels, ProfitSword Form Partnership
ProfitSword, has partnered with High Hotels to implement its ProfitSage operational and financial reporting platform at all properties that the hotel management company currently oversees.
With ProfitSage now available to staff members throughout its organization, High Hotels can provide each employee with the tools to sidestep complexities in the performance data gathering process and instead focus on implementing informed business strategies that lead to enhanced revenues and reduced costs. By implementing the platform, the management company is able to benefit from a fully automated platform that can seamlessly integrate with disparate hotel systems to instantly populate data fields within an easy-to-access user dashboard, according to the company.
Wood Hotel Turns to Assa Abloy
Assa Abloy Global Solutions has implemented VingCard Essence Mobile-Access ready door locks at the newly constructed Wood Hotel in Brumunddal, Norway. Located within Mjøstårnet Tower, the world’s tallest wooden building with a total of 18 stories that also serve as apartments and offices, Wood Hotel with VingCard Essence can ensure that both security integrity and guest convenience remain at the highest level despite the frequent entering and exiting of large numbers of visitors or residents into the building.
Wood Hotel sought out a security access solution that could blend in seamlessly with its surroundings and not disrupt the building’s decor with a commercial and bulky appearance. Using VingCard Essence’s minimalistic approach, the hotel was able to achieve this goal due to all electronic components being encased within the door itself and ensuring that only a door handle and RFID/BLE reader are visible.
