Wyndham Recognized by Human Rights Campaign

Wyndham Hotels & Resorts has been recognized for its culture of inclusion by the Human Rights Campaign on the heels of reinforcing its commitment to workplace fairness for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ) team members. Within the same week of joining the Business Coalition for the Equality Act, Wyndham Hotels & Resorts earned a perfect score of 100 as a Best Place to Work for LGBTQ Equality. 

Beekeeper to Debut Shift Schedules

Beekeeper will soon unveil Shift Schedules, a new mobile capability that will enable every hotel employee to check the most up-to-date work schedules personalized to them and delivered straight to their pocket via Beekeeper. The idea for this solution came when Beekeeper identified a gap in the market for operational shift communication. Although there are many effective shift scheduling apps on the market, not many are a core part of central workplace communication platforms such as the Beekeeper app, the company reports. The Beekeeper team worked closely with hoteliers through extensive research, talking to shift hotel managers, frontline staff and guests about the impact of great service coverage and internal communication.

Mohegan Sun Partners with Duetto

The Mohegan Sun gaming and entertainment destination in Connecticut and Mohegan Sun Pocono in northeastern Pennsylvania have implemented two of Duetto’s cloud-based applications—GameChanger for pricing and ScoreBoard for reporting—as well as Duetto’s newest product: the Duetto Rate Engine (DRE)–to drive more profitable revenue at the casino hotels. With GameChanger, Duetto’s flagship revenue management application, Mohegan Sun has better visibility into total customer value and the ability to shape reinvestment and marketing decisions to attract the most profitable guests, according to the company. With ScoreBoard, the revenue team has the ability to create intelligent reports and deliver actionable insights to key stakeholders in real time.

Horwath HTL Celebrates 21 Years in Indonesia

In 2019, Horwath HTL will celebrate 21 years in Indonesia advising both Indonesian and foreign hotel owners, developers and operators across the archipelago from Aceh to Papua. The annual Indonesia Hotel Industry Survey of Operations, also in its 21st year, has become the go-to source of hotel performance information for investors and operators.
