Millennium Hotels and Resorts extend partnership with IDeaS
IDeaS, a leading provider of hotel revenue management software and services, has expanded its partnership with Millennium and Copthorne Hotels. Following a thorough market evaluation and piloting phase, the global hotel group will transition to IDeaS G3 Revenue Management System (RMS) at more than 40 properties across Europe, North America, the Middle East and Southeast Asia.

Millennium Hotels and Resorts (MHR) invested time and resources to conduct a live evaluation of leading hotel RMS solutions. IDeaS G3 RMS won out for the quality and speed of its data integration. G3 RMS also earned points for its many enhancements, including room-type pricing and forecasting; group evaluation; “What-If Analysis” to determine pricing change impact; and Investigator, which provides greater clarity around the system’s automated pricing and forecasting decisions.

Outrigger Hospitality Group selects Medalia Zingle
Medallia Inc. has revealed that Outrigger Hospitality Group selected Medalia Zingle as the intelligent messaging platform of choice for its premier resort destinations in Hawaii.

Outrigger team members, called hosts, from across the business play a direct role in the customer experience and need to be able to communicate with guests in the moment. Hosts in the front office, back office, concierge and other key associates will leverage technology from Zingle to engage with guests in their preferred method (SMS text, web chat or social messaging apps like WhatsApp); engage with guests in their own language via language translation; gain insights from patterns in guest request data (like more towels, late checkouts) and anticipating guest needs ahead of time; and keep guests informed with real-time updates.

Anna Maria Beach Resort deploys BeyondTV by HIS
Hotel Internet Services (HIS), a full-service provider of internet services and solutions for the hospitality industry, has deployed its personalized content streaming platform, BeyondTV, at Anna Maria Beach Resort in Holmes Beach, FL. Following a recent full-scale renovation of the property, the Florida luxury resort is not only able to provide its guests with all of the amenities that make for an ideal beach vacation getaway, but now with BeyondTV, it can also cater to the complete range of guest expectations when it comes to modern guestroom entertainment.

With BeyondTV now present in each of the resort’s 31 suites and rooms, guests staying at the property can now look forward to casting content from personal devices to TVs with a simple QR code scan. BeyondTV is fully compatible with virtually any streaming service, including Netflix, HBO Go, Hulu, Amazon Prime, Disney+, Spotify and more. With guests often hesitant to use a property’s entertainment system to access streaming accounts due to concerns over security, BeyondTV further ensures total peace-of-mind by automatically erasing all usage data upon checkout. The solution’s enhanced security capabilities also provide guests with the option to erase their information at any point during their stay and with BeyondTV’s device isolation capabilities, can rest assured that their content is never inadvertently shared with televisions located in other rooms.
