Rainmaker Hospitality chooses Hotel Investor Apps
Rainmaker Hospitality, a full-service hotel management company based in Kentucky, have moved their portfolio of 18 hotels onto the Hotel Investor Apps (HIA) cloud enterprise resource planning platform.

Hotel Investor Apps ERP & Accounting software is a financial management, business intelligence, budgeting and workflow software all in one. Plus, it offers countless integrations to serve as one central data and analysis hub for the entire business.

Curator selects PureHD as preferred vendor
PureHD has been selected as the preferred vendor for free-to-guest (FTG) HDTV programming for Curator Hotel & Resort Collection’s member hotels. Curator’s platform coupled with PureHD’s next-generation technology and superior service makes for an accessible and cost-effective solution for independent hotel owners and operators to optimize their bottom line.

PureHD currently provides services to more than half of the member hotels currently enrolled and on-boarded to Curator’s platform and expects to partner with many more hotels as they join the collection. By working together, Curator Hotel & Resort Collection and PureHD can help support these owners and operators with state-of-the-art technology, while also allowing these independent hotels to retain their identity and what makes them unique.

Outrigger makes additions to executive team
Outrigger Hospitality Group has appointed Brian Lynx to the role of area director of sales and marketing, overseeing Outrigger Reef Waikiki Beach Resort, Outrigger Waikiki Beach Resort, Waikiki Beachcomber by Outrigger, Waikiki Malia by Outrigger and OHANA Waikiki East by Outrigger. It also named Rey Baysa as executive chef at the Outrigger Reef Waikiki Beach Resort’s Kani Ka Pila Grille.

Lynx leads his team in developing and implementing sales and marketing strategies to maximize revenue market share and optimize profitability for all source markets. His immediate focus is on the relaunch Outrigger Reef Waikiki Beach Resort, the company’s flagship property that underwent an $80-million transformation and will reopen at the end of this month.

Baysa oversees the operations of Kani Ka Pila Grille at Outrigger Reef Waikiki Beach Resort. The casual resort restaurant will service the property with breakfast, lunch, dinner and room service. He will also oversee the resort’s catering and the Voyager 47 Club Lounge.

BioCentric Lighting is a smart lighting system based on the latest scientific knowledge of human anatomy and our personal response to light. It is a self-learning system that integrates LED luminaires, sensors, Internet of Things (IoT) controls, artificial intelligence and cloud computing to simulate the biological benefits of the sun. The technology helps to synchronize the body’s circadian rhythm, resulting in better sleep, immune response, alertness, mood and other biological improvements, according to the company.

Plaskolite introduces Amgard antimicrobial safety shield
Plaskolite, a manufacturer of thermoplastic sheet products, has introduced the Amgard safety shield. Amgard is formulated with laboratory-tested silver ion antimicrobial technology that protects the sheet surface from microorganism growth.

Amgard is available in Optix Acrylic and Tuffak Polycarbonate sheet options. It is stocked in a 48 x 96-in. sheet of 0.220-in thickness and complies with the applicable EPA requirements. It is
manufactured in the U.S and is available through Plaskolite distributors nationwide.
