DALLAS—OpenKey has added two key members to its senior management team: Ryan Douglas as VP of operations and Brian Shedd as VP of sales and marketing.

As VP of operations, Douglas will be responsible for providing leadership, management and vision necessary to meet the growth demands of the mobile key software enterprise. He will oversee infrastructure needs, staffing, product support and operating efficiency throughout OpenKey. Douglas brings extensive experience in the hospitality industry to his new position having worked previously in executive roles for Expedia, Inc. and Barton Creek Resort & Spa.
In the role of VP of sales and marketing, Shedd will be responsible for company sales objectives, building a partner network and setting the marketing strategy. In his new role, Shedd will focus on strategic direction of the sales and marketing teams, development of sophisticated data analysis and implementing the company brand objectives including extensive sponsorship and involvement at hospitality industry conferences and events.
A former executive with Mandalay Resort Group and Omnicom, Shedd has extensive experience in marketing and business development as well as entrepreneurial experience as CMO of FaceTime Strategy and managing director of Calise Partners. Shedd is well versed in the hospitality industry.
