NATIONAL REPORT—Hotel Business has been following hotel executives on the move. Here’s what we’ve found:

Hard Rock Appoints SVP, Head of Global Hotel Development
Hard Rock International has promoted Todd Hricko to SVP and head of global hotel development. He joined the Hard Rock brand in 2014, serving as VP of business development for Hard Rock Hotels. During this time, he played an essential role in identifying strategic markets and sites to develop, managing contract negotiations for the brand and leading negotiations for management agreements in key markets, such as New York City, New Orleans, Atlanta and Daytona Beach. He also participated in the development of Hard Rock’s new upscale select-service brand—Reverb by Hard Rock.

RAR Hospitality Appoints New Execs, Operations Leadership
RAR Hospitality has expanded its leadership team with six appointments. RAR has appointed the following corporate and operational team members: Vikram Sood, SVP of operations; Frank Bewley, director of revenue optimization and marketing; Dieter Hissin, GM at The Lafayette Hotel, Swim Club & Bungalows; Andrew Ladd, director of sales and marketing at The Lafayette Hotel, Swim Club & Bungalows; Colin Ross,  GM at Carlsbad by the Sea; and Michael Flickinger, GM at Radisson Rancho Bernardo.

Grace Bay Resorts Promotes Scott Khile to VP of Sales & Marketing
Grace Bay Resorts has appointed Scott Khile to VP of sales and marketing. With more than 25 years of experience in the luxury hospitality industry, Scott joined the Grace Bay Resorts team eight years ago and has played a role in the continued growth and expansion of the Grace Bay Resorts brand, helping to achieve positive growth in sales year over year since 2010.

David Hale Joins Paramount Hotel Group
David Hale has joined its Paramount Hotel Group’s corporate team to serve as the company’s VP of business development. Prior to joining Paramount, Hale served as VP of hotel business development for Spire Hospitality. He was responsible for identifying new development opportunities and negotiating all hotel management agreements for the company. Earlier in his career, he also held sales and revenue management positions for Hilton and Interstate Hotels and Resorts.

Kokua Hospitality Appoints Sales, Marketing Director at Courtyard Marriott Long Beach Airport
Kokua Hospitality LLC has appointed Troy Karnoff as the director of sales and marketing of Courtyard Marriott Long Beach Airport. In his role, he’s responsible for leading a team of three, negotiating and contracting national and local corporate accounts, and developing the property’s strategic sales and marketing plans. He brings more than 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry to the Courtyard Marriott Long Beach Airport and Kokua Hospitality team. Coming full circle, his first job in the industry was with Marriott, initially working various operational roles at the Newport Beach Marriott Hotel & Spa and working his way up to director of group sales.
