NEW YORK—The Omni Berkshire Place, located in Midtown Manhattan, recently appointed Ruztique Toscano as the new director of sales and marketing.
In this role she will oversee see all sales and marketing efforts, which include managing, developing and implementing sales strategies that drive group, business and leisure travel business as well as directing all marketing communications and advertising efforts for the hotel.
“Ruztique is a phenomenal leader who knows how to drive results,” said Andrew Labetti, general manager for the Omni Berkshire Place. “Her love of our city and passion for our industry makes her a wonderful addition to the Omni family, and we are looking forward to great things from her.”
Toscano brings more than 13 years of experience to the Omni Berkshire Place. She joins the hotel from Sofitel New York, where she served as the director of sales and marketing for the last two and half years. Prior to that, she served as director of sales with Millennium Hotels in New York. Furthermore, she has served in key national sales positions for Loews Hotels, Starwood Hotels & Resorts and Hyatt Hotels Corporation.
