With a total of 44 guestrooms, including micro rooms, lofts and suites, The Hotel Salem is the 17th property from hospitality brand Lark Hotels and its second hotel in Salem, following the opening of The Merchant on nearby Washington St. in 2015.
There are two forthcoming dining destinations by Lark Hotels’ Group Executive Chef Justin Perdue: the street-level Counter and The Roof, Salem’s first and only rooftop bar, according to the company. Paying homage to its roots as a high-end clothing anchor store, the hotel’s design is a mix of mid-century modern decor and vintage, retail-inspired touches that embrace its past.
