Auric Road Debuts Oceanfront Escape
Auric Road, the lifestyle curators of petite resorts, is debuting its SoCal property, Hotel Joaquin in Laguna Beach, CA.
Chic, playful, and layered decor is the hallmark of this 22-room petite resort designed by Studio Robert McKinley. Hotel Joaquin follows the “Soul is our Style” ethos of Auric Road’s existing properties, Korakia Pensione and Lone Mountain Ranch.
An all-access pass is available to the Adventure Garage for surfboards, hiking and snorkel gear, bicycles and playful outdoor accessories. For an unplugged atmosphere, there are television-free suites outfitted with vinyl record players and a curated music collection.
WoodSpring Suites Increases Footprint in Houston
Choice Hotels International Inc., in collaboration with Four VP GP Houston Inc. and Gulf Coast Hotel Management Inc., opened the WoodSpring Suites Houston 288 South Medical Center.
The new four-story, 122-room property features three suite options, each equipped with an in-room kitchen offering a full-size refrigerator, dishwasher and free WiFi. It is also 100% smoke-free and offers a lobby coffee station, guest laundry rooms, an expanded lobby and a 24-hour fitness center.
Best Western Premier Opens in Bend, OR
The Best Western Premier Peppertree Inn at Bend has opened in Bend, OR.
The hotel’s industrial and modern 89 guestrooms and 30 suites are accented with warm wood tones and natural elements. Many of the suites include fireplaces, balconies and sleeper sofas. Amenities include a pool, fitness center and an on-site restaurant, ZPizza Tap Room.
There’s also the Rogue Social Room, an 800-sq.-ft. multipurpose space outfitted with two 70-in. televisions, a dry bar and game table.
TownePlace Suites by Marriott Joliet Minooka Opens
Marriott International’s TownePlace Suites by Marriott Joliet Minooka is open for business. The new hotel located at 630 Bob Blair Rd., will operate as a Marriott franchise, owned by Minooka Hotel Associates LLC and managed by Kinseth Hospitality of North Liberty, IA.
Accommodations include studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom suites with fully equipped kitchens, as well as separate living/working and sleeping areas. The brand’s floor-to-ceiling TowneMap helps to learn the city by featuring places to eat, play and explore.
