New hotels open in Georgia, Pennsylvania and Virginia

New openings in the U.S. include an AC Hotel in the Atlanta suburb of Dunwoody, GA, and a Holiday Inn in Erie, PA.

AC Hotel Atlanta Perimeter
AC Hotel Atlanta Perimeter has opened, located in the Perimeter Center of Dunwoody, GA. Owned by Vision Hospitality Group and managed by Humanist Hospitality, a wholly owned subsidiary of Vision, the 156-room hotel is located near Buckhead and Downtown Atlanta, across the street from the Perimeter Mall.

The hotel has 156 guestrooms, each with AC signatures, including KORRES bath products and the trademark “Between the Woods” AC scent, along with access to complimentary WiFi and a fitness center. It also offers 1,041 sq. ft. of event space, including two private breakout rooms.

Located in the center of the hotel, AC Lounge serves as a communal, multi-use space, while Bar Peri is the only rooftop bar in the area, according to Vision.

Holiday Inn Erie
Hawkeye Hotels has expanded further into the Northeast region with the opening of the Holiday Inn Erie located south of downtown Erie, PA. This is the company’s second property in the state.

The hotel has 150 guestrooms, complete with functional workspace. A modern, fresh and functional design aesthetic includes neutral tones and cool blue and green hues in this new construction, according to Hawkeye.

Other amenities include 1,200 sq. ft. of meeting space, a 24/7 fitness center, an indoor pool and Toast to Toast restaurant.

The hotel is located nine miles from the Erie airport, and nearby attractions include the Millcreek Mall Complex, Erie Zoo, Waldameer Water World, Splash Pad water park, Asbury Woods and the Erie Maritime Museum.

Archer Hotel Tysons
Archer Hotel has expanded its footprint with the debut of Archer Hotel Tysons in Tysons, VA. This luxury, new-build hotel in Fairfax County in the new Scotts Run South development marks the seventh property in Archer’s collection and its fourth on the East Coast.

At the foot of the McLean Silver Line Metro Station and nine miles northwest of Washington, DC, the 178-room boutique hotel is owned and operated by LodgeWorks Partners LP and designed by LK Architecture Inc.

All guestrooms include an in-room Nespresso coffeemaker, Frette bathrobes, Malin + Goetz bath amenities, a mini fridge, a laptop-size safe and Archer’s signature slippers (with a moustache or playful red lips), a keepsake to take home. Rooms with bath/soaking tubs contain a rubber ducky.

Amenities include AKB restaurant and bar and The Market 24-hour pantry.
