Mystic Marriott Names New Executive Chef

GROTON, CT—The Mystic Marriott Hotel & Spa, which is managed by Waterford Hotel Group, appointed Paul Krawic executive chef of the AAA Four-Diamond hotel and its restaurant named Octagon.

In his new role, Krawic will be responsible for the menu creation and daily culinary operations of Octagon and for all food departments throughout the hotel, as well as for off-premise catering events. He brings 30 years of professional management and food preparation experience to Octagon and the Mystic Marriott. He joins the hotels culinary team from his most recent role as executive chef at the Westin Hotel in Providence, RI, where he rebuilt and improved the entire culinary and food & beverage departments.
