Marriott International Opens Hotels in Four States

NATIONAL REPORT—Marriott International has opened four new properties in the last week, including a JW Marriott in Nashville, TN that adds to the city’s skyline.

JW Marriott Nashville Debuts in Downtown

JW Marriott Nashville recently opened with a 33-story glass tower that transforms the city’s skyline.

The hotel includes 533 guestrooms including 37 suites, a rooftop pool, a full-service Spa by JW, more than 50,000 sq. ft. of indoor event space, a 13,000-sq.-ft. outdoor event lawn as well as chef and restaurateur Michael Mina’s first Nashville outpost of Bourbon Steak.

The modern glass tower was designed by architecture firm Arquitectonica, and the interiors were designed by Stonehill Taylor.

The property is owned and managed by Turnberry Associates.

SpringHill Suites By Marriott Opens in Punta Gorda, FL

The SpringHill Suites by Marriott in Punta Gorda, FL is scheduled to open on Wednesday. The 104-suite hotel will operate as a Marriott franchise, owned and managed by Kana Hotel Group of Knoxville, TN.

The SpringHill Suites Punta Gorda/Harborside is located in historic downtown Punta Gorda and overlooks the Peace River, which offers sailing, fishing, kayaking, and numerous other water activities.

Towneplace Suites Open in Texas and Ohio

TownePlace Suites by Marriott Dallas/Mesquite and TownePlace Suites by Marriott Toledo Oregon both recently opened. On average, a TownePlace Suites opens every six days, according to the company.

The Texas property will operate as a Marriott franchise, owned by Profound Hotel Group LLC and managed by Hotel Equities of Atlanta.

The Ohio hotel will operate as a Marriott franchise, owned and managed by Key Hotels & Property Management of Toledo, OH.
