Hotel Equities to Operate The Island Beachside Resort
Hotel Equities has been selected to operate The Island Beachside Resort by Hotel RL in Fort Walton Beach, FL. The Gulf-front resort has 331 guestrooms, 14,000 sq. ft. of meeting and event space and on-site food and beverage options. The Island is owned by Tripp Tolbert, CEO of the Tolbert Group and developer, Jay Odom, CEO of The Jay Odom Group. Together, they have invested in renovations to preserve the hotel’s historical significance. Now, with all newly remodeled common areas and guestrooms, they are completing the finishing touches on the hotel and will be ready for spring 2020.
Donohoe to Manage the Hilton Garden Inn in Alexandria, VA
Donohoe Hospitality Services has been named to manage The Hilton Garden Inn Alexandria Old Town, Alexandria, VA. The 109-guestroom hotel is in the preserved historic district of Old Town Alexandria, close to the King Street Metro station, offering access to Washington, DC, Amazon HQ2, Reagan National Airport and National Harbor. Guests can ride the free Old Town Trolley for a trip down King St. in Old Town Alexandria, stroll along the city’s waterfront and enjoy dining and boutique shopping.
Kay El Bar Guest Ranch Taps True Ranch Hospitality for Management Help
Kay El Bar Guest Ranch in Wickenburg, AZ is now open year-round. The boutique dude ranch offers horseback riding on 2,000 acres, hiking in the Sonoran Desert, swimming in a heated pool and spa, team cattle penning, bird watching and evening campfires. True Ranch Hospitality—which operates White Stallion Ranch in Tucson, AZ; Tombstone Monument Ranch in Tombstone; AZ and Rancho de la Osa in Sasabe, AZ—has partnered with Kay El Bar Guest Ranch in providing reservations and marketing assistance. The guest ranch can accommodate 28 guests.

Moxy Hotels has opened its first property in Ireland with Moxy Dublin City, owned by Sackville Hotel Properties Ltd and operated by Interstate Hotels & Resorts, with support from Ulster Bank. Situated off O’Connell St. in the heart of the city, hotel guests have access to the bars, clubs and pubs. Business professionals have access to the IFSC, with corporate clients located in the Docklands close to the Moxy. The property has 157 guestrooms and 24/7 food and beverage options.
