LBA, StepStone add to management portfolios

LBA Hospitality has added two Hilton-branded hotels in Statesboro, GA, to its portfolio of managed hotels, while StepStone Hospitality has been awarded the management contract of an Embassy Suites by Hilton in the Minneapolis area.

LBA Hospitality to manage two Georgia hotels
LBA Hospitality, an Alabama-based hotel management company, has acquired new management contracts on the Hampton Inn Statesboro and the Home2 Suites Statesboro in Georgia. Both Hilton-branded hotels are owned by BPR Properties of High Point, NC.

The 96-suite Home2 Suites by Hilton Statesboro is pet-friendly and offers free WiFi, a business center, an outdoor swimming pool, a fitness center, Home2 MKT for grab-and-go items, a complimentary daily breakfast and 650 sq. ft. of meeting space.

The 90-room Hampton by Hilton Statesboro features the brand’s signature free breakfast, complimentary WiFi, an outdoor swimming pool, a fitness center, a business center and meeting facilities for up to 60 people.

Both properties are near Georgia Southern University, Mill Creek Sports Complex, Splash in the Boro Waterpark, South Georgia Tormenta Professional Soccer and Botanical Gardens at Georgia Southern University.

StepStone awarded management of Minnesota Embassy Suites
Hotel management company StepStone Hospitality has been awarded the management of the Embassy Suites by Hilton Bloomington/Minneapolis.

The 232-room all-suite property features modernized atrium and meeting spaces as well as recently refreshed guest suites. Each of the hotel’s two-room suites offers a sofa bed; wet bar with refrigerator; microwave and coffeemaker; and flat screen TV in an average of 550 sq. ft. of space.

Amenities include complimentary breakfast; the Iron Range Restaurant & Bar; an indoor swimming pool and whirlpool; and a fitness center. The hotel’s nearly 13,000 sq. ft. of flexible meeting space, including a column-free atrium, can accommodate events for up to 525 people.
