MONTEGO BAY, JAMAICA—Playa Hotels & Resorts B.V. will open Hyatt Zilara Rose Hall, an adult-only all-inclusive experience, and Hyatt Ziva Rose Hall, an all-inclusive experience for all guests, here, marking the arrival of Jamaica’s first Hyatt-branded all-inclusive resorts.
The two new hotels, which are expected to open Nov. 23, at the former site of The Ritz-Carlton, are the culmination of an approximate $80-million expansion, renovation and repositioning.
Spanning 1,200 ft. of private coastline on the Caribbean, Hyatt Zilara Rose Hall and Hyatt Ziva Rose Hall will share the same resort grounds and will offer 621 luxury suites that will afford ocean, pool and resort views.
Amenities will include several cascading pools, 24-hour suite service, fire pits, a full-service spa and wellness center, enhanced luggage and beach butler service, and activities and entertainment, as well as nearly 50,000 sq. ft. of interior and exterior meeting and special event space. With an international culinary team led by Executive Chef Maximo Garcia Lopez, the resort will offer 18 restaurants.
