Hyatt Regency Opens Properties in Asia

INTERNATIONAL REPORT—Hyatt Regency has continued its expansion in Asia, recently opening two new properties: one in Japan, the other in China.

First Hyatt Beach Resort in Japan
Located on the private Seragaki Island and linked by a bridge to the main island of Okinawa, Hyatt Regency Seragaki Island Okinawa offers a view of the East China Sea from all 344 guestrooms. The property is home to six dining outlets. The resort has six banquet venues with ocean views, and outdoor terraces that can be configured to range in size from 968-1,614 sq. ft. to host business retreats and social gatherings. Seragaki Island Chapel has a glass rooftop and a 32-ft. aisle leading toward the ocean. The property offers guests the following activities: diving, morning and sunset yoga, karate and more.

Hyatt Regency Shanghai Jiading Opens
Hyatt Regency Shanghai Jiading has opened its doors, and it’s the first Hyatt-branded hotel in northwest Shanghai. The hotel has 304 contemporary guestrooms from floors 27 to 40, including 23 suites, four executive suites and a presidential suite. F&B options at the property include a Chinese restaurant, a market café and a pastry shop. Hyatt Regency Shanghai Jiading has 37,673 sq. ft. of meeting space.
