CHICAGO—The Hyatt Place São José do Rio Preto has opened, marking the first Hyatt Place to open in Brazil. Hyatt, in joint venture with Elandis, intends to open multiple Hyatt Place hotels in Brazil.
Practical design aligned with comfort and technology is the leading characteristic of the new Hyatt Place hotel, according to the brand. The property offers 152 guestrooms with the signature Hyatt Grand Bed, a media and work center with a 43-in. flat-panel HDTV and a sofa-sleeper.
“The opening of the first Hyatt Place hotel in Brazil is a milestone for the company as we continue to focus on the development of the Hyatt Place brand across Latin America,” said Luciano Julio, regional director of Latin American operations for Hyatt Place and Hyatt House. “We truly believe guests will be pleased with the innovative service concept and modern design offered by the Hyatt Place São José do Rio Preto.”
Among the amenities are the brand’s Gallery Hosts, who are available 24 hours, and a 24/7 Gallery Menu serving an a la carte menu. A 24/7 Gallery Market provides grab ‘n go items, such as snacks and sandwiches. There is also a Coffee to Cocktails Bar featuring specialty coffees and premium beers, as well as wines and cocktails. Breakfast is complimentary.
The property’s meeting venues offer more than 3,980 sq. ft. of flexible, high-tech meeting/function spaces. In addition, free WiFi and public computers with remote printing are available throughout the hotel. A 24/7 StayFit Gym and an Odds & Ends program for forgotten items that guests can buy, borrow or enjoy for free round out the offerings.
