Life Hospitality Adds BeachWalk at Sea Bright
Life Hospitality has added the 76-key BeachWalk Hotel in Sea Bright, NJ, to its portfolio.
The property, owned by Sunil Nayak of Innzen Hospitality, is nearing completion of a comprehensive renovation to reposition the asset into a locally rooted boutique hotel—the first of its kind in the beachside town.
Located less than an hour away from Manhattan and tucked between the Atlantic Ocean and the Navesink River, the BeachWalk at Sea Bright is located in the heart of the picturesque three-mile coastal town in Monmouth County, NJ. Innzen Hospitality is nearing completion of an expansion of the existing 37-key property into a boutique hotel that will have 76-keys under a to-be-announced brand upon completion this fall. The new guestrooms will include panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean along with access to the property’s private beach, swimming pool, and the hotel’s popular waterfront Tiki Bar, in addition to the property’s 40 dock slips and 80 parking spots.
HEI Hotels & Resorts Assumes Management of Kimpton Brice Hotel
HEI Hotels & Resorts has assumed management of the 145-room Kimpton Brice Hotel in Savannah, GA.
The hotel, housed within a former Coca-Cola bottling plant, is a historic boutique property located in the center of Savannah’s National Historic Landmark District, steps away from the famed River Street and City Market.
The Kimpton Brice Hotel recently reopened in June and has implemented COVID-19 safety protocols, including the use of hospital-grade disinfectants, mandatory face coverings and protective equipment for employees. Located in Savannah’s iconic Historic District, the pet-friendly property has an outdoor pool with cabanas, cherry-red cruiser bikes, a full-service fitness center, in-room Pilates and meditation channels, as well as in-room Kerstin Florian spa treatments. Additional amenities include nearly 6,000 sq. ft. of indoor meeting space.
Hotel Equities to Manage IHG Hotel in Boone, NC
Hotel Equities (HE) has been selected to manage the full-service Holiday Inn Boone–University Area.
The hotel is situated in the scenic Blue Ridge Mountains of Western North Carolina near Appalachian State University. A $4.3 million renovation to the hotel was completed last year by Asheville, NC-based owners Watauga Hospitality LLC. Hotel Equities assumed operations for the hotel including accounting, revenue management, and sales and marketing.
