Hotels open in North and Central Florida

The Renaissance and Red Roof Plus+ and Suites brands have opened new hotels in Florida.

Renaissance St. Augustine Historic Downtown Hotel
The Renaissance St. Augustine Historic Downtown Hotel in downtown St. Augustine, owned by Vista Hospitality and managed by LBA Hospitality, has opened.

The hotel is located in the heart of the historic Ancient City District and is close to Jacksonville International Airport, Daytona Beach International Airport, Old Town Trolley Tours, St. Augustine Alligator Farm Zoological Park, San Sebastian Winery, Castillo de San Marcos and St. Augustine Amphitheatre.

The three-story hotel features 89 guestrooms and suites that offer balconies and verandas with uptown city views, shoreline-inspired furnishings and hi-definition TVs with streaming capabilities.

Amenities include full-service, all-day Castillo Craft Bar + Kitchen restaurant; 4,462-sq.-ft. of versatile event space; an outdoor pool; a 24/7 fitness center; and complimentary WiFi.

Red Roof Plus+ & Suites Tampa
The 116-room Red Roof PLUS+ & Suites Tampa has opened with the brand’s Verified WiFi, free expanded cable, a business center, a seasonal outdoor swimming pool and a guest coin laundry facility.

The property is close to Busch Gardens Tampa Bay, Tampa International Airport, the University of South Florida and downtown Tampa.
