Best Western Hotels & Resorts Go All-In on AWS
Best Western Hotels & Resorts is moving its infrastructure to Amazon Web Services (AWS) to automate processes and develop new and more personalized experiences for travelers visiting its properties around the world. Best Western Hotels & Resorts will migrate all of its business-critical applications to AWS including its hotel reservation system, customer reward platform and global contact centers, with plans to complete the migration of these applications from its existing data centers by the end of 2020.

Hotel Equities Selects MyDigitalOffice for Business Intelligence and Hotel Reporting
Hotel Equities has adopted the MyPerspective solution to automate hotel reporting and improve visibility into its entire property portfolio. MyPerspective is an all-in-one data visualization dashboard and predictive analytics tool for hoteliers developed by MyDigitalOffice, the hotel information management platform for sourcing, processing and storing hotel data in the cloud. MyPerspective standardizes hotel data and makes it accessible and actionable across the entire portfolio in a visual and customizable dashboard. SkyTouch Technology will add seven Northern California Stay Cal properties into its growing customer portfolio. Stay Cal Hospitality has embarked on a repositioning of the hotel group in Northern California. In addition to hiring key leaders and expert matters in the industry, the brand is motivated to make technology investments to enhance overall operations by boosting revenue, guest satisfaction and employee engagement. To that end, Stay Cal Hospitality chose to join forces with SkyTouch Technology.

Provenance Hotels Partners with TipYo to Intro Mobile Tipping
Provenance Hotels has partnered with TipYo to give guests at Hotel Murano in Tacoma, WA, mobile tipping options. TipYo is a secure mobile payment solution that enables travelers to tip hotel room attendants, concierge and valets. Once installed, all travelers need to do to tip is open the app, select the amount they want to leave, select the hotel they’re visiting, choose the staff to tip and enter their room number before they confirm the tip. TipYo reporting integrates with the hotel’s payroll system, and the tip is passed along to the employee or employees in their next paycheck.

HEI Hotels & Resorts Collaborates with Knowland
HEI Hotels & Resorts has collaborated with Knowland to upgrade HEI’s entire portfolio of subscribing properties to the Knowland flagship solution, Insight Elite. Knowland’s SmartSearch capability, only available in Elite, enables HEI portfolio properties to stack and rank “best fit” group business to optimize revenues and profitability from the group segment in their hotels. An active participant in the beta launch of the Insight Elite solution, HEI provided valuable user feedback at various stages leading up to their full adoption of the solution.
