Caesars Entertainment Selects Oracle; Agilysys Now Supports Worldpay; More

NATIONAL REPORT—Hotel Business has been rounding up tech news within the industry. In addition to new partnerships, Agilysys Inc. will now support a new payment exchanging company. Here’s what we found:

Caesars Entertainment Partners With Oracle
Caesars Entertainment Corporation has selected Oracle Cloud Applications to improve the experiences of its guests and employees. With Oracle Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Cloud and Oracle Human Capital Management (HCM) Cloud services, the American gaming corporation has transformed its business by connecting 650 disparate systems to a cloud-based solution that unifies business and employee data on a modern, unified platform.

Agilysys Now Supports Worldpay
Agilysys will now support Worldpay in its rGuest Pay gateway solution. RGuest Pay offers the hospitality industry a PCI-validated, point-to-point encrypted (P2PE) payment gateway that meets the latest and most robust security needs of merchants everywhere, according to the company. Customers using rGuest Pay gateway and Worldpay will have a payment solution that handles the entire payment process, all the way through clearing and settlement of funds (acquiring bank functions). In addition to eliminating a separate gateway fee, clients will have less administrative overhead as problem resolution, billing and settlement become simplified through a single entity.
