VENICE BEACH, CA—Hotel Erwin here has implemented new amenities, food and beverage offerings and room upgrades throughout the hotel.
General Manager Scott Gold noted, “From Barlo Kitchen + Cocktails to High Rooftop Lounge, we have some delicious new menu items and cocktails that reflect the diverse culture of Venice Beach. In addition, the guestrooms and suites offer updated beach chic décor, upgraded furnishings and, as always, sweeping views of the city and the Pacific.”
The Red Bull Dogtown Suite, which was renovated and designed in partnership with the energy drink brand, is fitted with eclectic artwork, as well as an oceanfront patio and DJ booth and is available for meetings and events.
The hotel also added new menu items throughout the hotel from Barlo Kitchen + Cocktails to High Rooftop Lounge as well as new hours. The new menu at High, crafted by Executive Chef Adam Steudle, features small plates inspired by global street food. In addition, High offers panoramic views of the Southern California coastline and beyond, and DJs spinning tracks from 3-10 p.m. Food and handcrafted drinks are available Monday to Thursday from 3 to 10 p.m. and Friday 3 p.m. to midnight; 2 p.m. to midnight on Saturdays and 2 to 10 p.m. Sundays. Champagne cocktails, a Bloody Mary bar and continental breakfast are available.
Barlo will debut the “Barlo Brunch Club” on Saturdays and Sundays beginning at 11 a.m. complete with showings of Chef Adam’s favorite vintage cartoons and an all-you-can-eat cereal bar with a buffet of vintage cereals plus lunch box milks. The eclectic menu includes chef’s twist on classic brunch items, such as the Señor Wingo Frittata, SoCal Chorizo Omelet, Hunter Duck & Bacon Sausage and Eggs, Monte Cristo and Strawberry Buttermilk Pancakes.
New for guests in suites and premium rooms on the 6th level: a complimentary roaming happy hour cart will deliver handcrafted cocktails, beer and wine directly to guest rooms from 5 to 7 p.m. daily.
