Hotel Business partners with Cornell University

EAST SETAUKET—HOTEL BUSINESS® joined the corporate membership program at the Cornell University School of Hotel Administration (SHA) and will provide editorial coverage of the school’s events and programs, as well as online and print advertising.
“Hotel Business reaches the top executives in the industry through its online portal and traditional print publications,” said Michael Johnson, dean and E.M. Statler Professor at SHA. “Working together, we will be able to extend the reach of the school’s research summits and educational programs. We are delighted to begin this new partnership.”

The publication will also promote the Cornell Icon of the Industry Awards Dinner, a gala event that honors industry leaders and serves as a fundraiser for the school’s scholarships and programs.
“Hotel Business celebrates and encourages advancement in the hospitality industry,” said James (Jay) Schultz, senior vp, hospitality group, ICD Publications, parent company of Hotel Business. “Through our partnership with the School of Hotel Administration, we will help bring together the biggest players in the hospitality industry for research, education and networking opportunities.
“Enhancing our relationship with prestigious institutions such as Cornell University has been instrumental in helping Hotel Business achieve its current position as the hospitality industry’s leading trade publication,” he added.
