Hotel Business Launches Best Places to Work, Sponsored by Beekeeper

ISLANDIA, NY—As labor shortage continues to be a major industry issue, hotels are looking for ways not only to motivate and educate a new generation of workers but also to hold onto the workforce already in place. The focus now, more than ever, is on sustaining a work/life balance and creating a fulfilling employee culture. Click here to take the survey.

Hotel Business, as the premier industry thought leader, is proud to publish the results of the Best Places to Work survey, sponsored by Beekeeper and conducted by EffectUX, an analyst based in Palo Alto, CA. EffectUX has conducted extensive research into what creates engaged, fulfilling and productive workplaces/cultures and measures workplace experience. The report will highlight companies that create rewarding work environments. And, awards will be presented to those with outstanding achievements.

“This inaugural Best Place to Work is about hospitality and the people who bring it to life,” said Corey McCarthy, VP of global marketing, Beekeeper. “It looks at how owners and operators establish hospitality at the core of their businesses to create a holistic service culture that begins with their front-line workers. We are honored to partner with Hotel Business as they launch this industry report and award that recognizes best practices in employee experience at the property level, brand or enterprise as a Best Place to Work—it’s long overdue. It’s time to honor organizations and leaders who foster employee commitment, increase employee retention and create a healthier workplace.”

Best Places to Work will honor companies from each of the following categories: hotel brands; management companies (operator); and owner level.

Hotel Business is thrilled to partner with Beekeeper on this endeavor,” said Hotel Business Publisher Allen Rolleri. “We recognize the importance of creating healthy and collaborative work environments, and are proud to acknowledge those industry partners who are active mentors and investors in their employees’ overall growth and success.”

Hotel Business subscribers will receive the survey and be asked to share it across their organization to solicit nominations. EffectUX will then analyze the data and determine the top 5-10 companies across the three categories. Look for the results in a report published by Hotel Business later in the year.
