PORTLAND, OR—The Benson Hotel named Andrew “A.J.” Voytko executive chef for the historic property, which is owned by Coast Hotels.
He is responsible for overseeing all kitchen operations, managing event catering and dining service and managing both in-room and The Palm Court dining experiences.
“The Benson Hotel has established itself as a cornerstone in the Portland area by continually working to uphold a high level of service, expertise and inherent passion within the industry, which is why it was a natural choice to bring A.J. onto our team,” stated Ron Gladney, general manager.
Before joining the Benson Hotel, Voytko held executive chef positions at various luxury restaurants and hotels throughout the Portland and San Diego areas and started his own food truck, KnuckleDragger.
Established in 1913, the Benson Hotel features 287 guestrooms and suites and also is home to The Palm Court restaurant and bar.
