NATIONAL REPORT—Hilton has renovated two of its properties, with a rebrand in Kentucky, and Marriott has a multimillion-dollar update in San Diego.

Embassy Suites by Hilton Lexington Green

Embassy Suites by Hilton and 245 LGC Hotel Partners LLC, in conjunction with Quorum Hotels & Resorts, recently completed a $7.7 million renovation of the Hilton Suites Lexington Green and branded the hotel as the Embassy Suites by Hilton Lexington Green in Kentucky.

The property-wide renovation featured a complete revamp of the guestrooms and inviting public spaces paying homage to Kentucky’s heritage of thoroughbred racing and bourbon with a modern twist.

Quorum acquired the 174-room full-service hotel in June 2016 with plans to implement a renovation and rebranding program.

The hotel is part of the Lexington Green Shopping Center, and has more than 3,000 sq. ft. of flexible meeting space that can accommodate groups of up to 150 people. The property also hosts an array of amenities, including a restaurant with Kentucky flavored dining, business center, outdoor pool, 24-hour fitness center, gift shop and outdoor event space.

Hampton Inn by Hilton Concord/Kannapolis

Owner/operator MCR has completed a renovation of the 101-room Hampton Inn by Hilton Concord/Kannapolis select-service hotel in North Carolina.

All rooms in the hotel were completely renovated including new furniture, wall colors, window treatments, carpet, and lighting. The renovation also includes updated patio furniture and upgraded landscaping surrounding the exterior of the property.

San Diego Marriott Mission Valley

San Diego Marriott Mission Valley recently completed an expansive $9 million property renovation, encompassing an upgraded wedding and events lawn with a new fire feature and decorative fencing, new meeting space, an elevated lobby experience including lobby bar, and the introduction of the first signature M Club Lounge in San Diego.

The renovation also includes updates to 33,550 sq. ft. of event space, including the addition of advanced energy efficient lighting and new modern decor, which extends into the restrooms. The revitalized meeting spaces are designed to help encourage communication and productivity.

The enhanced lobby experience includes an all-new lobby bar, which is adaptable from morning until night and a reimagined restaurant, which offers indoor and outdoor seating, and a fire feature.
